    Title: Aquarium
    By (author): Barak Zemer
    ISBN10-13: 1940881463 : 9781940881461
I used to go to the Long Beach Aquarium so I could get out of the car and stand shoulder to shoulder with strangers and look at something together. I would stop at the Surge Channel exhibit, an aquarium emulating the North Pacific Ocean. It has mechanically generated waves, the water goes up and down, and the fish in it back and forth. There are rockfish from Alaska, surfperch from Siberia, and kelp greenlings from Japan, all contained tightly together, agitated rhythmically in the fake current. I would stand with others and imagine the cold waters of the sea. I'd lose myself in the light; it reminded me of my fights back home. After the long night, somewhere above the Mediterranean, the sun would penetrate through the tinted windows and flood the plane in a deep blue.

Photograph and artist Makoto Oono approaches the collection of organic and chaotic spaces via picture-taking and creates the works that have been shown in Tokyo and overseas. Focusing on the breeding as well as observation, he oddly expresses discovered habits and details of the organism. _x000D__x000D_This is his first photo book on his accumulation of traps, named â SEPARATE HIDDEN RULESâ . While isolating the viewer in the cage with various life forms, each work makes us confused and collapse our imagination one after another. He shows new possibilities of nature photography in urban circumstances and contemporary life.

    Title: David Schoerner
    By (author): David Schoerner
    ISBN10-13: 1940881412 : 9781940881416
This newspaper has been printed in an edition of one thousand copies and combines photos from the British Journal of Photographyâ s International Photography Award Exhibition 2017, writing from some of the worldâ s leading specialists on the subject of the European migrant and refugee crisis and texts from individuals that have experienced parts of this crisis first hand. The aim of this publication is to provide perspectives on the subject of migration that are not often found in the mainstream media. John Radcliffe Studio feels that when journalism and public discourse move into the sphere of inflammatory language and misinformation, so often the real victims are forgotten. _x000D__x000D_The newspaper features Aly Gadiaga, Madia Souare, Alexander Betts (Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford), Charles Heller and Lorenzo Pezzani (Forensic Architecture, Goldsmiths University), and Lindsey Hilsum (International Editor, Channel 4 News)

    Title: Humours
    By (author): Kathryn Kerr
    ISBN10-13: 0982547188 : 9780982547182
A castle is a symbol of time slippage: it sits mournfully upon a mound, lamenting its glorious past. It now spends its days entertaining touristic hordes and reliving a history that becomes something else entirely- wispy, romantic visions. What was once a truth of the past is reenacted again and again to ensure the historical moment's futurity, but it just becomes awash in error- misplaced documents, a whispered "fact" that is just a legend. The history is no longer a real history, but the present day re-enactor's own creation, their desire of what the past should be.

    Title: Photographs
    By (author): David Schoerner
    ISBN10-13: 0982547129 : 9780982547120
In Photographs, David Schoerner weaves together images from his photographic practice that were taken over the past several years into a pensive and wistful ensemble punctuated by oceanic themes. Lushly produced still lifes highlight maritime-themed ephemera while other photographs capture the varying moods of waves. Softly-lit portraits of young woman, environmental surfaces, and quiet landscapes form a range of the included types of pictorial imagery, heightening an awareness of the camera's roles. Aged fan mail from a star of 90s sitcom "Saved by the Bell" appears along with stills of fisherman from the reality TV show "Deadliest Catch. " With their inclusion, television operates as an entranceway into sites of nostalgia. Viewing Photographs calls up the fleeting sensations and memories of summer, suggesting a parallel experience to the passing of youth. - Catherine Krudy
