    Title: ... In that Empire
By (author): Sable Smith, Sable Elyse Smith
    ISBN10-13: 1645164853 : 9781645164852
. . . In that Empire is a conversation, an experimental cartography bound by each initial decision. Jorge Luis Borgesâ story â On Exactitude in Scienceâ frames the encounter: each â Lâ and â Râ within the text creates a list of sixty-one positions. Using these directionals, the artists took sixty-one photos in West Newbury, Massachusetts and Harlem, New York, respectively. The reader is invited to access the book through multiple entry points, from front to back, in any order. No matter the beginning, a turn of the page becomes an act of continuing the conversation of experimental cartography established in the making of this book.

Title: I'm This I'm That I'm in the World
    By (author): Rahill Jamalifard
    ISBN10-13: 1733295763 : 9781733295765
"During quarantine I started a series called 'primitive portraits,' drawings done in crayon and pencil of artists whoâ ve had influence in my life. Just as Covid began its pillage in the United States, I was coming off a west coast tour and had plans of spending time upstate to relax and decompress. Then boomâ Covid went full throttle and I found myself up here, no reception, no internet, no books, no records, no instruments. So I picked up a pack of crayons at the supermarket as a saving grace to connect me back into avenues of remedial creation. Crazy how a thirty minute daily routine can bring you solace and healing as powerful as meditation. Not only was that inspiring. reconnecting to my deepest roots in art, drawing, the place where creating began for me, and using the same medium (crayon) was kind of wild. Anyway, thatâ s a long enough description for sharing these crude drawings, but ya know what, who cares. "

    By (author): Adam Turnbull
    ISBN10-13: 1733295739 : 9781733295734
In this issue we learn about memorial tattoos, lucky dæmons, surfing dogs, and top models (of the four-legged kind, of course). We read about the heartbreaking power of missing-pet posters and the brotherly bond between humans and working dogs. We meet purebreds and mutts alike, as well as a zestful husky named after a legendary rock band. We take a stroll in Prospect Park before travelling to San Francisco, a city with more dogs per capita than children. We meet an artist turning each dog walk into a creative opportunity, and a photographer cracking smiles with the help of peanut butter. We explore the weird and wonderful world of pet names and the meaning of Keith Haringâ s iconic Barking Dog. All this, and more, inside the covers.
