    Title: Almost Something
By (author): Hanna Moon, Moffy Gathorne-Hardy
    ISBN10-13: 2957001365 : 9782957001361
Hanna Moon found the best way to get published while she was still a student: by simply creating her own magazine, with a name that could be qualified as predestined: A Nice Magazine. With it, she was able to have all the freedom to make her own series, and to invite her friends. A whole tribe that gravitated around the prestigious school of fashion design, the Central Martins School, that she joined in the fashion design section to end up graduating in photography in 2014. For her first book, she returned to her country, to Seoul, but also to Daejon, her hometown, 150km south of the capital. Back to her roots, her family, and her friends. A dive into a country which remains mysterious for most people, despite its pop culture spreading around the world. Intimate photographs of everyday life, of a digital generation that still flirts with the values of the past! Digital memories displayed on her computer desk, memories of small moments that form recollections! Born in Daejon, Hanna Moon became interested in fashion and moved to Seoul for two years to study textile, before flying to London at the age of 22 as part of a one-year exchange, where she studied fashion communication and discovered photography, a topic of interest among many others. She will stay there while going back and forth to Korea. Assistant to Tyrone Lebon, she is quick to fly on her own. A noticed exhibition in 2019 at Somerset House in London, with Hong Kong artist Joyce Ng was a manifesto for Asian miscegenation. She is a regular contributor to magazines such as AnOther Magazine, British Vogue, Dazed, The Gentlewoman, i-D, M, and Re-Edition, and with brands such as Acne, Adidas, Gucci, Supreme, and Valentino.

    Title: Donna Trope Polaroids
    ISBN10-13: 2957001322 : 9782957001323
â Have any conversation with Donna Trope and it will somehow wind its way back to sex. It lies at the heart of everything she does, every image she creates. If the legendary beauty photographer isnâ t aroused on set, then she might as well not be on set at all. â One of my earliest beauty memories is watching my young stepmother getting ready for my father to come home,â she says. â Her hair and makeup were akin to that of a fashion shoot. They had a decidedly sexual aura. Her getting ready was almost ritualistic and I watched this, maybe as a voyeur, and was fascinated enough to remember it all my life. â Dazed Beauty Donna was born in Los Angeles and bred in London. Being self-taught, she drew from her own experiences and developed a look and a style. Donna Trope is an award winning, world-renowned photographer specialising in beauty images Her sexy, conceptual, ground breaking beauty shots went against the grain of what was considered commercially beautiful and are now the much imitated status quo. She has shot campaigns for clients such as Guerlain,Lancôme, Pantene, Rochas, Guinness, Christofle, France Telecom, Maybelline, Vichy, Revlon, Bic, Coty, Sephora, ITV, Boots, Bobbi Brown, Hennessey and Roger et Gallet. Her editorial clients include The Sunday Times, Vogue, Vogue Hommes, Lâ Officiel, GQ, Jalouse, Tush , Flaunt, Forme, Harperâ s Bazaar, Glamour, In Style, Cosmopolitan, Dazed and Confused. Donnaâ s work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide. She has photographs in the permanent collections of The Victoria & Albert Museum as well as in selected private collections. Donna Trope has been a master of beauty photography for decades. She has always used Polaroids on her shootings as a test before the final take on film, even in the digital era. Preciously stored away, there are over 25,000 of them now. Here is a short selection of them.

    Title: ECHO
    By (author): GUEN FIORE
    ISBN10-13: 2487003030 : 9782487003033
"A delicate and poetic tale of female intimacy, friendship, and the negotiation of the fluid territory between adolescence and young adulthood.â ¨A territory suspended between impossible identities, in conflict with one another, where no element can find its place, and they all seem to have lost it.â ¨The bodies are caught in a pending state â as if uncertain of how to proceed â with an unrelenting power pulling them upwards, towards young adulthood and a second powerful and untamable force pushing, with equal strength, in the opposite direction, towards childhood â a realm that is fading away without ever truly disappearing. Each one of Guenâ s photographs speaks of such push and pull struggle where two bodies at war with one another see in the other, and in their unity, their worst enemy: the obscure object of their desire as well as the embodiment of their worst nightmare."

    Title: Erotish Vol 2
    ISBN10-13: 2487003057 : 9782487003057
"Erotish 2 emerges as the continuation of Julia & Vincentâ s first opus, Erotish, expanding their universe inspired by the aesthetics of the 90â s/00â s. This new chapter pushes their exploration of contemporary eroticism further by asking a simple question: what feels erotic today ? Darker in tone and more contrasted in vision, Julia & Vincent juxtapose glamorous details with subjects that may seem mundane or unsettling at first glance. Everyday gestures such as brushing teeth, boilling water, or wearing a cast are reimagined and transformed into images charged with desire and fantasy.Throughout the series, beauty collides with decay, reflecting the contradictions of the world around them. The result is a vision that feels both playful and disenchanted, a glossy surface hiding darker undertones where glamour meets fragility and eroticism flirts with the ordinary. With Erotish 2, Julia and Vincent deliver a bold, cinematic interpretation of eroticism today, fantasized, distorted, and infused with the atmosphere of our increasingly complex times. Julia & Vincent are an artistic duo whose work merges the cinematic with the fashion-forward, creating imagery that feels both timeless and unmistakably modern. Fascinated by the beauty of everyday life, they infuse the ordinary with sensuality and glamour. Their bold yet elegant visual language, marked by a rich and distinctive colour palette pushes the boundaries between photography and motion"

    Title: Fast !
    ISBN10-13: 248700309X : 9782487003095
â When we were young there were two things we wanted to do. One was to find a place with no before or after, a place where nothing ever happens, just like heaven. The second thing was to discover a tasty and lasting flavour, high, sweet and shocking red, like a cherry on top, and to celebrate with it the ultimate toast. Now we are grown up, and a third concern frightens us: to leave the freckles behind and search in your eyes the idea of you. Oh, we are such a bore.â Chus & Greg A world tour of youth and teenagers through photography and video. A unique style, a reflection about youth that passes by very quickly. Too quickly. Chus & Greg have been working together over the past 10 years on both commissions and personal projects. They have always shared a common obsession for fan movements, coming-of-age and teenage pop culture. Their perspective plays with the codes of fashion and documentary photography, always blurring the lines. Chus & Greg imagery verges on the dreamlike and the ghostly, the realness and the unreal. Their approach to image is ethereal and hazy, almost abstract, both in their treatment of colours and shapes as in their unique way of tackling any subject they capture with their camera.

    ISBN10-13: 2957001357 : 9782957001354
These photographs were taken across Ukraine between 2015 and 2020, during spring and summer. They form a collective portrait of Ukrainian youth, and were taken on the way to the sea, along the banks of the Dnipro River to the beaches of the Black Sea; and further, on to the Arabat Spit, a mineral hot spring in a small village near the Sea of Azov called â Shchaslyvtseveâ , which means â happyâ in Ukrainian.

    Title: Impermanence
    By (artist): David Hughes
    ISBN10-13: 2957001373 : 9782957001378
David Hughes took the time to delve into his iPhone memory. He extracted some images, which he reworked or even cropped to give them a new life. Do these images make sense? Is there any information to decipher? Images that mean nothing special, but not banal, even sophisticated. A new narrative is needed... All the photographs in this book are small pop-ups that open and close, a reflection on the image, little things that make a story to be invented, beyond the image, Impermanence! David Hughes utilizes his profound knowledge of the history of photography to create images of enduring wit and substance. Known best for his still life fashion photography, Hughes deploys a sophisticated lexicon of classical blackâ andâ white photography as well as striking and complex approaches to color. Hughes also creates memorable fashion editorials and advertising, often taking its cues from historical cultural references, which he reanimates in his contemporary imageâ making. His editorial stories have been published in An0ther Man, Arena Homme + , Beat, i-D, LOVE, Man About Town, V, and Vogue Homme Japan. Hughes has also created artwork for musicians including Mark Ronson, Massive Attack, Nick Cave, and The Rolling Stones. His commercial clients include AlexanderMcQueen, Bally, Burberry, Coach, Ferragamo, J.W.Anderson, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs Fragrances, and Prada. Hughesâ project was shown at the inaugural Frieze Art Fair in London and collected and exhibited by the Victoria and Albert Museum.

    Title: Kristina 18
    By (author): Kristina Podobed
    ISBN10-13: 2487003049 : 9782487003040
Kristina 18 is a story about the end of an important chapter, a time that once seemed endless but now exists only in fragments of memory. 18 is more than just a number. Itâ s the age when I first picked up a camera, capturing the world around me, and itâ s also the day I was born. This book tells the story of the people and places that shaped my life in Ukraine, of a world that once felt unchanging. Some places lose their meaning without the people who once filled them, while some faces remain vivid even when time has erased the surroundings. This book is a quiet farewell to a time that has now slipped away. Itâ s not just about what was, but about the echoes that stay with usâ feelings, moments, and absences that shape who we become. This is an attempt to return to where it all began before letting go. Dedicated to the friends we've lost. Kristina Podobed Kristina Podobed, is a photographer born in Odesa in 1994, began her artistic journey in 2011. In her work, she explores the theme of the body and its naturalness, capturing sincere and unposed moments. Her approach combines intimacy and documentary style, creating vivid and sensual images. Kristinaâ s photographs can be compared to poetryâ they evoke emotions, immerse viewers in deep experiences, and reveal new dimensions of perception. Like poetry, her images captivate with their honesty and depth, inviting the audience to reflect on vulnerability, self-expression, and the nuances of human experience. Her work stands out for its ability to blend intimacy with openness while maintaining naturalness, attention to detail, and the sincerity of captured emotions. Now Kristina is based in Paris, where she lives with her son and husband and continues creating raw, honest and sometimes mind-challenging imagery.

    Title: Mapping Subconsciousness
    By (author): Marcus Schaefer
    ISBN10-13: 2487003006 : 9782487003002
This book shows a selection of photographs taken between 2019 and 2024. It serves as a collection of what I consider to be some of my most significant photographs captured during that period. I think of photography as a perfect tool to create my very own interpretation of reality â for me personally, a reality that is about beauty, art, and aesthetics, not necessarily technical perfection. I am not interested in capturing the exact likeness of someone or something and long to arrest all beauty and the non-obvious or at least make the obvious not look obvious. By doing so, I seek that â in-betweenâ experience with surreal momentum that escapes the static reproduction of reality. I am intrigued by the interplay between fiction and reality â the subconscious and the conscious â and want to take the audience on a journey through my mind and visual world.

    Title: Mocafico Numero Volume 7
    ISBN10-13: 295700139X : 9782957001392
In 1999, Babeth Djian â fashion editor and avant-garde stylist â founded Numéro, a Parisian magazine now famous for its unique and bold aesthetic combining fashion and contemporary art. From the first issue, then very regularly, Babeth gives Guido Mocafico carte blanche for the closing pages of the magazine. Free and suffering no diktat, the photographer takes the opportunity to create immutable and provocative still lifes the major genres in photography such as architecture, landscape, or nude. This platform, a place of innovation and experimentation, allows him to give free rein to his imagination, to offer an offbeat, critical look at our contemporary world made of vanity. In 2016, the box set Mocafico / Numéro gathered all the series from 1999 to 2016 in 6 volumes. Here is volume 7. Italian still life photographer Guido Mocafico was born in Switzerland; he currently divides his time between his home in Switzerland and his studio in Paris. Guido Mocafico has become recognized as a contemporary master of still life. His interest in this most classic of art forms started early whilst studying photography at Vevey School in Switzerland. He initially focused on commercial and advertising projects for brands such as Chanel, Clinique, Dior, Gucci, Armani and YSL. His images have been published in numerous magazines over the years including Vogue US, Vogue France, Harpers Bazaar, The Face, and Wallpaper and Numéro. About more than twenty years ago he began to develop personal projects, separate from his commercial accomplishments; these resulted from his personal passions. He explored his chosen themes deeply, first with research, to gain an in-depth understanding of his subjects. Subject topics are varied and copious: in architecture, with his series Brasilia/Beirut; Medusa, jellyfish; Serpens, snakes; Aranea, spiders; Guns and Roses; Movement, fine watches; Nature Morte, banquets and floral arrangements, an interpretation of Dutch Still Life, and most recently Blaschka â glass models, by the father and son duo Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka. His work has been exhibited internationally since 1999, including venues in London, Paris, Munich and Tokyo. Various books have been published comprising his personal projects: Venenum (2005), Medusa (2006); Serpens (2007); Movement (2008) and Stilleven (2012), published by Steidl.
